He is an experienced, International Commercial Banker with a wide experience in leading teams across retail banking, multi-sectorial lending and risk analytics management.
Brian is a Social and Business Entrepreneur and Strategic Transformational Change Agent. Brian became excited about TAB the moment he heard its founder Allen Fishman being interviewed on the Pat Kenny show. Brian completed his TAB certification in Denver in February 2014 and now facilitates Boards in South Dublin and leads TAB’s The Alignment Factor programme in Ireland and Not-for-Profit TAB Advisory Boards. Brian is Vice President of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Chamber of Commerce and is a former Chairman of the Christina Nobel Foundation.
Bringing experience from a regulated for-profit to the not-for-profit sector gives Brian deep insights on the challenges facing not-for-profits. According to Brian, not for profit organisations are mission-driven organisations who reinvest their surplus in themselves, but behave much more like a regulated corporate. However, 80% of their challenges are the same as organsiations of a similar size in the for-profit sector.
